*An anonymous observation about how we commonly view the concept of "straight," and why maybe we should reaccess that view...*
Keep it on the straight and narrow
Always shoot straight, like an arrow
Straight to the bank
Straight to the point
Straight from the horse’s mouth
Straight from the heart
Why is “straight” always what is good?
While being the other way is
Out of line
But the “winding” and “twining” has its place too
Because “straight” is rigid, unbending, stiff as hay,
Unwilling to wander off the given way,
While all the wanderers who deviate
Discover so much more than those who stay straight.
