An Archive Story wins Gold in Toasted Cheese!

If you dig through the Archives, there is an old story prologue called "In the Garden Where Monsters Grow." The full story has been awarded Gold (First Place) for short science fiction/fantasy story in the December issue of Toasted Cheese Literary Journal. Follow the link below for the full tale:

  1. Congratulations. Great story. I'm not sure what goes through your head, but I'm glad you don't keep it there. Egg

    1. LOL, thank you, Egg. These things tend to want to escape my head more often than stay quiet :)

  2. Alison,

Congratulations on your award! The other writers never stood a chance to your humor, grace, and crazy talent.

Have you submitted the short story about the clinic that removes the phobias and quirks? That's my favorite work from the Imaginalchemist.

    1. Thank you, Joe...and actually, that story you mentioned, "Psycho Babbles," did win an Honorable Mention in Writer's Digest's science fiction/fantasy contest in 2011...but I have been wanting to do more with that one. I've considered turning it into a graphic novel, if I can find the right artist to join forces with.
